Supernet use TWA transit internet service for up stream service

  • The TW1 cable system has landing stations in Pakistan, UAE, and Oman.

  • The total length of the cable system spans 1274 kilometers.
  • It is a DWDM system with 1.28 Tbps capacity.
  • Capacity on two fiber pairs of 20 Gbps.

8. Do I need any special equipment to use Inet+ services?

No, you can use Inet+ services on a standard desktop computer with Ethernet card available.
For larger environment, where multiple users want to utilize this service, you will need a router with Ethernet port availability to use Inet+ link.

9. In which regions this service is available?
Inet + services are available in almost all major cities of Pakistan

10. Is this service is shared or dedicated?
The Inet + service provides committed information rate (CIR) connections to the internet.

11. What are different data rates supported by the Inet + services?
Supernet provides flexible and wide range of data rates to their customers, starting from 128K. The following data rates are most popular,

  • 256 kbps
  • 384kbps
  • 512kps
  • 768kbps
  • 1024 kbps
  • 1536 kbps
  • 2048 kbps
  • Up to STM-1

12. How long does it take to deliver the Inet+ service?
Core Network is in place with surplus transit internet bandwidth and requires only to route the customer traffic to their proper last mile. However, last mile delivery time varies for provisioning Inet+ services upon different last mile technologies.

15. Can I upgrade my package easily if I want more bandwidth?
If you feel you want better download speed and/or capacity, please contact your key account manager  to have your service upgarded.

16. What type of IP is given for inet+ (Public/Private)
Public IP addresses will be assigned with every Inet + link. 4 IP addresses or /30 subnet will be allocated for link with data rate between 256kbps to 512kbps. 8 IP addresses or /29 subnet will be assigned for data rate 1024kbps and above. Additional IP addresses can be made available after mutual discussion on the actual requirement. There will be a cost.

Please check the following:

19. How can I see the utilization of my Inet+ Link?
There are many software through which you can see the utilization of your link. One of the popular software for this purpose is “DU Meter”. Moreover Supernet also provides utilization graphs to their customer upon request.
